Nutrition Needs

    The best way to get our nutrition needs met is through eating an array of nutrient-rich foods. Nutrients are readily absorbed from food and tend to be in the form used by the body.

    During imbalance, stress, or chronic illness nutritive needs go up. At the same time appetite may be reduced and digestion may be compromised. This creates a need that diet may not be able to maintain. 


    In order to support the body through these times, supplementation may be needed. Both herbals supplements and vitamin/mineral supplements should be food-based and clean, and preferably organic. This ensures they are safe for the body and easily utilized by the body instead of being filtered out as a toxin.
