   Have you ever noticed after eating a large, diverse salad of leafy greens you feel a little better than when you eat a heavy meal of processed foods? If so, you may have attributed it to the many vitamins and minerals found in the greens, or the lower calories per meal. While these things are true, there are other reasons as well. 

    Plants are amazing creations and in them we find many powerful constituents that effect our body in positive ways. Some plants help us to detoxify, others protect us from harmful free radicals, others are anti-microbial, while still others activate certain enzymes for our benefit. For centuries, people have been using plants as remedies for any imaginable ailment. 


    While eating a healthy, moderate diet is key, when the body is off balance herbs can be used bring the body back to normalcy without damaging the body from harmful side effects when used properly.
