Essential Oils

Essential Oils are the concentrated liquid portion of a plant that is made up of volatile aromatic compounds containing the characteristic fragrance of the plant.

These oils have been used for hundreds if not thousands of years safely and with much success in restoring physical, mental, and emotional balance.

There are several things to look for when purchasing essential oils. The first would be quality: where are the oils sourced from? Generally, it is best to get them from countries where good farming practices are in place. Second:  are the plants wild crafted, organic, or conventional? Remember that essential oils are very concentrated so any impurity, chemical, or contaminant existing in the plant or added during the growth of the plant will also be concentrated. This is especially important for those that use them internally (which I do not recommend). The third would be smell: if you don't like it, then your body probably does not need it.

"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
1 Corinthians 10:31 ~NIV
